Signals are stronger this afternoon - 10.2db with occasional dropouts to zero.

The fta channels are still a mess - NTV (tagged as Nashe Kino NTV Plyu) has a serious video fault on it!

Out of the four fta channels, the channel tagged "NAShE KINO NTV-PLYuS" is unwatchable as mentioned above and the one tagged "NAShE NOVOE KINO NTV-PLYuS" has slight glitches in the video. Other two seem fine.

Sorry for the off-topic question, but how do you get CrazyScan to show transponder details SR, FEC, mode Etc. on transponders that aren't locked? I can't get it to do that!

Indeed,depends on pc card that you use.As far as I know,@CrazyCat has added this feature-BLScan2 checkbox-to the pc cards( TBS 6983 PCI-E,TBS6908,TBS6903,etc) based on chip STV091x,as a kind of bonus for dxers who wanted as unlockable transponders to be marked on CS.

I scanned the AMUi satellite on 35.9E with the large antenna, not the Toroidal, to see if I could catch the transponders that disappeared a month ago.
Although the signal is strong on the muxes found, the missing ones cannot be seen on the analyser. This leads me to believe they're on the Euroasia beam. Is there anyone here who can pick up this beam in our area of Europe? Thanks.

I think that AMU1 is not yet able to electronically adjust the beam as the latest satellites can do.
But it can reduce the power to the broadcast antennas, which will drastically reduce the coverage.

Now it's probably 50dBW or even less only in the center of the beam. Although for 54dBW a 45 cm dish should be sufficient.
In Europe, the value may now be somewhere around 35-37dBW
In Voronezh, the level is only 10dB ( +/- 2dB ) on a small dish. Before, it was not a problem to reach even 14dB.
After the service night in July, even some transponders could not be received with original parameters.

After the next change parameters, they can be received even on small dishes distributed by NTV and Trikolor.

According to some Ukrainian forums, AMU1's Russian beam has been moved further west, which could potentially improve reception in fringe areas of Europe.

Not having a Circular Ku LNB at hand, I tested with a Linear one on Express AM1 at 36.0E.
Even with this support, the signal is indeed strong with a relatively small antenna.

With 1.2 m and linear LNB, getting 6.7 dB at best on 11900, so lacking 1.2 dB.
