Is there any converter which can translate from a 36V positioner to DiseqC?

I am asking because i am thinking of ordering the Echostar DVR-7000HDD receiver and it doesn't have DiseqC working but it got a nice old 36V positioner.

Not that I know of, they make converters for the other way round though. :)

Why the Echostar in particular, when just about every other DVR offers DiseqC 1.2 and probably have more going for them?

What do you think the highend receiver is today?

What do you think of Topfield 5000PVR?

Good question! Why don't you set up a poll?
