I recall the original design was promoted for manufacturing plastic pasts in a hurry, and deemed invaluable in the space industry) but this development takes it one stage further

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

It'd be fun to be able to print out models and props rather than have to pay out the backside for off-the-shelf model kits, all I can think of is printing out starship models, star trek props like tricorders and phasers, and maybe even some custom telephone shells for vintage phones... :D

Is it made by HP by any chance? They always overcharge for such tiny amounts of ink, so much so that it's made printer ink more expensive per gram than gold.... :-nuts
