Hi you techno guys.
What Satellite magazine list all the sats and sat channels available for viewing over air.
Listed in this mag is Eurobird 9 degrees east tp's 11747 & 11881 broadcasting fta 3d channels one of these tp is a test. I would like to know if I buy a 3d tv and using my technomate 6900 super combo sat receiver would I be able to view these broacasts in 3d, or would I have to buy another satellite receiver that is 3d compatable

The 3D test channels are short testloops only - dont expect fully blown programmes from them

To be honest its not worth spending several hundred pounds on a 3D tv just to watch 10 minute test loops. Unless you are going to subscribe to Sky for their 3D content dont bother - you will be wasting your money.

Any hd receiver should display the fta 3D content in its "side by side shotgun" transmission format - if you have a look through the new channels sections there are screengrabs from 2 or 3 3D test channels

BTW All the stuff on 9E 11881V is scrambled.
