40.5W SES6 & NSS806

I forgot to include the EBS Pro signal analyser screen grab for the 40.5W transponder (3980 L, SR21600) in post 71, now attached below.

Got lock now and a usable picture on the Hellobox. LNB has been changed to the Titanium Wideband version and a bit of careful tweaking, at leat today has been dry here...

@scopus

Well done with that lock, I think the Titanium LNB has the edge over the Zinwell in them polo pipes, just enough to get a lock on it. Thats a good result with a 1.8m dish to lock that one.

Yes the C band LNB is also offset from focus too, They ain'y bad these Famaval dishes...

Hello at the end i installed my dish 1.8m to get 40.5W 5-5W and 58W i can get 55.5W almos 200 channels and all transponders but i cant get as well the 40.5w getting 50 channels only i have lnb ainwell 15K and im thinking to buy titanium lnb to check if i improve.

somebody test both lnbs?

I tested both the Zinwell and the Titanium LNB's in a polo pipe and found that the Titanium performed better. I could not get a lock on 3980 L on 40.5W with the Zinwell LNB but the Titanium LNB locks it easy. Also for both these LNB with only the dielectric plate and no polo pipe I found that the Titanium LNB was better.

ok perfect thanks i already order the titanium to check i suppouse that the frec that i cant lock its due to some signals that disturb and wth the filters that titanium has maybe is solved. let see ...

Although zinwell is 67db gain adn titanium 65db. ill check in 2 weeks when i receive the new lnb

thanks

but where are you located??? I'm from Panama and I can get 220 Channels from the 40.5w with a C/ku LNB I think is a Titanium one

Today by surprise i found that turn the lnb horizontal the dielectric reach 205 channels almost all i think 1.8m from south of spain,
I already order the titanium i think could be better even with 65db gain against 67db zinwell.

let see when i receive it

The Edision Nino Pro receiver also managed to lock the ESPN Brazil transponder of 3980L from 40.5W in C band. The SNR at 8.8 db from the Nino Pro was not quite as high as the 9.1db I achieved with an EBS Pro scan last week but the signal seems to fluctuate.

I have attached a few pictures below taken from the Nino Pro running an OpenVIX image.

@moonbase You did that with a 125 cm dish?

Further tweaking had got me solid lock now on this mux with a steady 8.1dB. LNB is offset and using a 1.8 dish in the MidlandsESPN Lock.webpP1010028.webp

this sat has some BBC mux there using IDERTO, I'm wondering if is possible to open it using an Enigma 2 Box...

That is a nice result with a 1.8m dish, especially with the LNB offset from the centre focus.

OK on the nino, I think the tuner is slighlty more sensitive on the Hellobox...Nino ESPN.webp

@scopus

Nice one, thats a good lock at 8.3db with a 1.8m dish for ESPN Brazil. It looks like you have got the Nino Pro correctly configured and running smoothly with E2, well done.

Was the signal level of 8.3db obtained with the Titanium LNB in the polo pipe? It might be interesting to see what signal level you get if you did a direct swap over from the Titanium to the Zinwell on the El Nino? My guess is that the signal level would drop using the Zinwell?

Yes MB it's the Titanium and the polo pipe. I have tried many times to get this mux with the Zinwell, but it's having none of it!
This is a new Titanuim LNB, I have tried these in the past but not been too impressed, whether they have tweaked something in this newer version I don't know...
