40Gb SKY+ and Anytime? HDD Space???

I was wondering if I bought a 40Gb SKY+ would SKY Anytime take over most of the allready low capacity leaving me with next to nothing?

I could imagine that there was something in the Firmware that would control this with low capacity HDD so should one refrain from updating the software? If this was the case and I went for an upgrade option and swapped the 40Gb HDD with a 160Gb what would the outcome then be concerning the reservation of Sky Anytime space?

ISTR Anytime is only available on v3 Sky+ boxes and above. On these boxes there is a 40Gb (?) slice of the drive reservation for Anytime. Eve if you turn Anytime off you dont get the space back
