Hi, i have a Triax td88, i want to put 3 lnb's on it 42-39-28.2.
Do i set the primary lnb on 39 east?

Many Thanks

My Satellite Setup
Laminas 1.2M fibre dish with an IBU, on a Clarke Tech USALS motor, covering 57E - 24.5W to an Octagon SX88. Displayed on a 20" Dyon LED TV.

Seperate 80 cm dish on 28E with a Humax Freesat for SWMBO.
Free Sat V8 meter. Sony Bravia 46" LCD, Sony BluRay and Home Cinema.

Normandy, France
I have a TD88 setup for multisat, centered on 28°E which has 39° and 42° on one end of the bar.....Probably having 39° as your central point will be ok....but on a TD88 the space between 39° and 42° is tight using standard rather than slimline LNB's.

It may well be worth considering a TD110 or a 1 metre dish like a Gibertini.....

39 and 42 not a problem i've got a couple of Alp's lnb's.It's pulling in 28.2 when it's 10.8 degree's away from 39. I'm of the thinking if it were 13,19.2 and 28.2 that work's when the primary lnb is set on 19.2 and that's 9 degree's apart from 28.2 on a 80cm dish.
Thanks for the reply

I would set up on the Hellasat 39E, i found turksat 42 first,im sure a lot of transponders are more powerful than 39E, and 28E being strong you should get that even with a larger offset but try and let us know how you get on!

I was even thinking of slightly off setting 39 east so 28.2 isn't quite as far apart from the centre arm. But i'm not to sure how strong 39 east is in southern england

You can always align on 33 or 36 and have two offsets.

I have no problems getting most of the west beam 42E channels using a second hand Sky Zone 2 60 cm dish.

Yep, that's sound's good. I'll give it a go on 36 then 28.2 only about 8 degrees away. Save moding the multi bracket, that's a pain and hopefully that should do the trick...Thank's
