Depends which beam you are trying to receive. West beam is not a problem. Have you tried with your current dishes?

getting 42°Est would mean cutting off some vegetation... so,i m trying to asess the likelihood of that reception...
before comitting a possibly useless agression to my environment.
west beam would be far enough!

There are beam maps, which show how powerful the reception is, on the West beam:

so it looks to be a really strong beam..
I now have to calculate elevation of my offset and skew of course
Thank you, this will keep me busy for some time!

42E West beam is an easy catch even on a 60cm dish here in the Scottish Borders. For years I used an old Sky zone 2 dish - the bigger one

Its not awkward for Turkey! Any extra reception outside the prime service area is a bonus these days

you can also get Turkish TV on the 7 East slot which may be easier for you to get. National TV channels free and some paid for services too. Less high rise more low.

yes 7 east is very easy to get ,public Turkish stations...I get them easily ,TRT- 2 looks very interesting!
maybe the best for me ,since anyway, I won' t be able to follow the likes of " ITV & Channel 5" in Turkish!
Just curious of "seeing" the world in this never-ending confinement, foreign channels allow you to "travel" in a way
I am surprised to see how many channels are offered FTA, as many as Germany!
Maybe Turkey wants to show that "what the Germans can do,the Turks can do as well"
For the benefit of us,viewers!
