46E (Azerspace 1)

Flysat have the new 10974V as the Central Asian beam - its definitely Europe as Im getting it at 72%.

(Not getting much else either on this horribly dank evening!)
 
FWIW UTR on 11014V currently has English language news on it. Thats a new English news service for me.
 
UTR is a regular channel - it switched back to Ukrainian about 2055 though. :(

11014H 30000 5/6 is supposed to have Turkish channels but Im not getting anything on it.
 
I just bricked my bloody box two hours ago, good thing I love the technomate boot logo looped to f#¢k!!! lol
 
There is a push to make English a second language in Ukraine as it would improve the economy so there may be more dual audio and subtitled programmes in future on 46e and elsewhere.
 
I do like Azersat - its one of the most interesting satellites at the moment :)

Shame its not enough to give a sniff of the Central Asian beam.

Nothing at all on 11039V here, not even a quiver on the signal meter. I'll leave the 5402 tuned into that frequency and see if anything shows up, although the 1.1m dish might just be a fraction too small this far north..
