Ohh will need to kick the 45E tyre round a bit further to have a look at Intelsat 10 :D

Never seen I-10 as its old home is behind a hill here.

It comes with 9,5 dB on 100 cm, should not be too difficult over there.
All can be seen on 13E already, except CYC, Aghapy TV and Logos TV are new to me.

Is this one still on? If so I'll have a look this afternoon - if it stops raining.

Yes, still on but only 4.9dB SNR here so no margin for rain at all.

Not much hope here today in that case - esp on a battered 80cm dish.

I've just rechecked this and it's upto 6.5dB, no real difference in cloud cover here so there must be quite a bit of fading on this transponder, could be worth a go?

Aye I'll have a go - it has stopped raining now.

Nah not a peep.

Will have to try again when the weather is better.

Although before on 68,5 East, Intelsat 10 used the Europe/Africa beam above 12500 MHz, I think this could be the Europe/ME beam now.
In reports from Eastern Germany the strength is similar to here, it should be much stronger when Europe/Africa beam is used.
Also most programs are in Arabic, notably many Coptic (Egypt) that is covered well by Europe/ME beam.
A signal report from Spain for example would be nice!

Edit: hmm... _www.stn.eu/en/about-us/news/stn-limited-exclusive-offer-for-coverage-over-africa

I'll have another go today - the skies have cleared a bit and there are hints of blue in the cloud breaks.

I can lock it here with good signal quality but I can also lock a feed which appears to be on another beam (much weaker). I suspect this is the Stans beam

No go here, although the return of the snow showers is limiting attempts to have a decent go.

I think I need a bigger dish (hmm an excuse to buy a new 1m :D)

Thanks for showing this bird, this is my #41 in Ku band I can get signals from. Signal level is pretty good here on 1,5m PFA

The total lack of signal at AS, the good signals in the Baltics, and the STN press release make me think 12602V is Europe/Africa beam after all.
So the spot over Europe may be a little bigger than the footprint map suggests.

The feed that iandoh received "much weaker" (was that the one on or near 11531V ?), I received as well, with similar strength.
That must have been Europe/ME beam then.

Guess that all 3 beams can make it here with similar strength.

Is this still active? Getting the transponder fine here but no channels.
