Checking this slot this morning for feeds and notice something unusual, comparing 11474 and 11479 against 12602 the first two are five 'clicks' further east than 12602. A quirk of my dish and LNB due to the frequency difference or are the first two on Eutelsat 48C?

i am new to this but is 48e moving in/out off the arc ? if you/me are scanning when she is in line it could account for some activity ?,

maybe worth checking when 48e is in line and see what a scan brings up, are have i got it all wrong ?.

My Satellite Setup
Dr.HD F16, TBS 5927, T-55, Laminas 120 cm
My Location
Oss, NL (5.5°E 51.8°N)
Situation now around 48 East:
47.5° East, 0.0° inclination: Intelsat 10, using 11450...11700 H/V and 12500...12750V
48.0° East, 0.3° inclination: Eutelsat 48C, using only 11428 H (broad unlockable peak)
48.2° East, 3.5° inclination: Eutelsat 48A, using 11575...11700 H and 11700...12100 H

Eutelsat 48A will cross the arc at 12:49 UTC, giving strong signals below 11700 H that overwhelm Intelsat 10.

My setup is in the profile at the left where it should be!
BTW, most signals on these satellites is APSK and/or ACM/VCM and will only lock with TBS 6925 or similar cards.

Probably not with azbox, here is a scan I just made of Eutelsat 48A.
If it's too late now, every next day, the Clarke-belt transit is 4 minutes earlier.

So I'm not mechanically tracking the satellite, instead just wait for the transits!

And yet, to me the largest diurnal fluctuation is noticed on the 12602V package which isn't inclined. I'll re-attach the power to my inclination actuator later and compare signals.

My scan locked these,

1=11580,H,4214,56
2=11589,H,10535,23
3=11624,H,5000,56
4=11634,H,10185,34,16APSK
5=11646,H,2000,23,16APSK
6=11649,H,2000,56,16APSK
7=11662,H,12640,56
8=11690,H,10420,78,8PSK

Aceb, Intelsat 12 @ 45.0 East (11468V 30000) is very strong, and may "push away" the optimum direction for the weaker Intelsat 10 signals.

Martin-f, yes there is both
11475 V 2700 3/4, ALKASS SNG2 (9 d:cool:, and
11478 V 2700 3/4, Service 02 (6.5 d:cool:.
Encrypted as usual.
