Any news on when this bird is going to be lit up?

Any news re:its footprints? and Ku-band transponders?

Nothing here or maybe i shouldnt be getting anything, i havent seen the footprint.

Nothing on Satbeams. Only showing two possible footprints with no info on them.

Cool, new "old" satellite:) Not strong but easily watchable.

Nada here on the 1.2m Fibo.. all I managed on the blind scan were 46E TPs... 2 degrees away!

I am locking 47.5 Aghani BH, also two feeds active,11665 V 2344 11669 V 2219 I can only presume the feeds are from 47.5.

An odd one... have signal but no lock.

Got lock on one of the feeds but nothing from the other one.

:) Take a loot at info bar text from my first screengrab-> 22.59 thu 09.10.2014:-rofl2

I still have a lock on both feeds CJ, but nothing transmitting at the moment, you might need a little more signal for Aghani BH, I need around 57% on the skybox f3s, please ignore my satellite position.

Brand new future satellite Afghansat 1 formerly Eutelsat W2M and later Eutelsat 48B and Eutelsat 28B:lol:

7.5dB now. So now its marginal even for 8psk-mod if there will be later these dx-killer channels:)

No sign of 11231V here, although its not an idea day for dxing as its heavily overcast. I'll have a go another day when conditions are better.

Also nothing here .

I have 14.0-14.3 db on 11231V in my location (with 0.9m dish). But Enosat from Slovakia has nothing on the spectrum. So dropout on the border of footprint is extremely high.
Also seems to me that the beam has wrong position, centered to the north from Afghanistan, somewhere in Central Asia (maybe Kazakhstan). The most of emitting power used to warm the Earth only, not for Afghani people.
