5 lnb / Diseqc Switch / TD110 / Technomate 9100 configuration problem

Hi,

I'm currently trying to get 28.2e/19.2e/13e/9e/4.8e connected to my box (Technomate 9100) using 2 4-way Diseqc switches. I've installed it the following way:

Switch 1:

1 - 28.2e
2 - 19.2.e
3 - 13e
4 - Diseqc switch no.2

Switch 2:
1 - 4.8e
2 - 9e
Receiver port - Diseqc switch no.1

The problem is that I can get the 28.2e/19.2e/13e/4.8e to work but no matter what configuration I try (1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2), I can't get 9e to work even through it works when I connect the lnb straight to the receiver. I have tried with a 8x1 switch and it's the same. What could be the problem & possible solution?

You can't do it like this. You need an committed switch connected to uncommitted. So switch 1 should be uncommitted and switch 2 should be uncommitted.

8x1 switch should work though....

I have been thinking of trying a similar arrangement for my DM800 but didn't really have a clue where to start.

Yes, but the 8x1 switch uses DiSEqC 1.1 commands, not 1.0. Does the receiver support that? If so you need to switch 1.0 off and 1.1 on.
 
Or you could use this configuration taken from the forum..
 
I have just spent the last three weeks sorting mine out.
On the shed I have two dishes.Five lnbs. feeding a 8x1 Diseqc switch.
I got it to work like this.
10 east LNB 1. diseqc 1.1. uncommitted switch input 1. swap command.
28.2 east LNB 2. diseqc 1.1. uncommitted switch input 2. swap command
19,2 east LNB 3. diseqc 1.1. uncommitted switch input3.swap command
7 east LNB 4. diseqc 1.1. uncommitted switch input 4.swap command
39east LNB 5. diseqc 1.1 uncommitted switch input 5.swap command.
I had to activate the swap command button for each lnb.To get it to work.


Satellite setup should be set to. None standard user defined configeration. Not Diseqc motor
For some reason I have to have LNB 0 set.So I have 4.8 east on lnb 0 even though I have not got a lnb on 4.8 east.
