50 years today since emley moor fell over

It'd be interesting to see the response today if a transmitter fell over like that, obviously the fall-back for most people would be satellite TV (which wasn't available back then), but how quickly would they put up a replacement, temporary or otherwise, given the selling off of the TV bands in recent years, would there be someone in a boardroom saying "Well, we'll be selling that band off soon, so we may aswell just not build a new transmitter!"? :confused
