I recently put several gigs of files on to a Seagate hard drive I bought from Maplin. Then it breaks)(-red
I plan to bring it in for a replacement/ refund, as I have with several Maplin items. However I'm being told they may examine the hard drive and look to repair it.
This is a pain because:
(1) I'm looking for a replacement today.
(2) I'd rather they didn't look at the contents. Nothing overly dodgy - just a privacy thing.
Is there any way round this?
