5620 booting probs

Hi there
Hoping you guys can help, I came home from work on mon and turned on my dm5620 to be greeted with 5600 boot scrolling "screen of death" on the front display. No probs I thought null modem cable and dreamup to flash gemini 220 did that it looked like it went ok until I started to set the box up again,
It lets me select pal then uk for region, then if I select my time zone the box hangs and then goes back to the start again, if I back up out of the the time zone menu I can then select diseq and go on to scan for channels, But it then crashes with 35 seconds to go with a message saying fatal error and completely locks up.

Was it the same image you flashed backed on to the box...Try da vinchi and see if you get the same problems.
 
The best thing to do in these cases is to flash an original DM (download it from the manufacturers website, then see if all works. If all is ok then download a fresh copy of the latest Gemini image from IHAD and it should be ok, works fine here.

I would like to try the gemini 260 for 5620 but I cant find were you are ment to download it on the ihad site I am a member but my german is crap,
any pointers?

It is in the database, don't need a lot of German for this. But try this link

Well thanks again for the help dude

the probs I was having with the ihad site are caused by using a google translated version of the site which seems to remove the links to the files:-DOH!

Here is what I did to get it going

1 download & install (with dreamup) dmm image
2 Turn on db & flash erase
3 Set up network
4 install (with flashwizard) new gemini image
