5620 losing signal

I may have prematurely killed my 5620. Recently I noticed that on previously strong signals I was getting freeze, even thought the signal strength had not changed.
I thought that some problem had developed in the tuner and borrowed a DM500 from a friend.
The 500 seems to be fine.
Then the little dim light that was supposed to be a masive stroke of "Eureka" came out and I was wondering if this may be a problem of the image.
Any ideas anyone :-worship

Well the easiest test is to flash the box with another image, try with one of the solid Gemini versions.

yea I should have done that before disconnecting and rewiring the whole system
