My 1st attempt at raising the dish to get 57 east ended in failure no signals beyond 53 east

It then took about 90 min to get the signals back up to the previous levels on 26E/21E/4W & 7W

Got there in the end so will have another try next week end

I need to secure the 2 poles better than this attempt when I used a mast motor clamp,

Currently the poles are joined by an aluminum tube & a steel tube banged in with a lump hammer So I will drill a couple of fixing holes for bolts in each tube on my next attempt,

Just need to make the join more secure the pole is plumb with a spirit level through 360 degrees

57E Central Asia beam 11617H Almata (or Gakku!?) and other "new" NAU (only pink screen). Also channel 7 (Sedmoi kanal new freq 11517H 2222). (please ignore sat on screengrabs. "Real" 57E in C-band use).

I have said in another post that I have swopped my Dishes round on the shed. My 100cm Orbital can now see as far as 57East.Not getting anything from 57East though.With the TD88 I had no problem getting DUHOC 57 East.Not getting it with the Orbital though.Spent a couple of hours fine tuning this morning getting good signals on most satellites. but no DUHOC.

Now I find that DUHOC has gone.

Apart from the fact. Where has it gone.I am still getting no reception from 57East.
Can someone point me to a recievable transponer in the UK if one exists

Duhok TV has indeed left, sadly. We'll see if it reappears on another bird... You should get Silemani TV

Yes getting that one|Jamie. I have changed the longtitude.From 1.7W to 1.6W getting transponders now.

I just read about that maybe Duhoc will turn up somewhere else ?

There maybe some frequencies here that may help you with 57 east
FlySat NSS-12 @ 57° East

Yes Real Madrid is my favorite Spanish club we lost Real Madrid tv on 9 east then it moved to 30 west now only available on Euro subs
Now we loose both of the channels they used to show RM games :mad:
