5E SES-5

Yes it's Burkina Faso - although Flysat does not show it - but Lyngsat yes. at 5E

In this case I dont believe Lyngsat. My opinion is that it coming from 3.1E.

... or it sending via both satellites at same frequency? Maybe I dont get signal from 5E Global but getting 3.1E only?

I think you are right, I started counting the clicks and I believe it's more prone to be coming from 3.1E,
although I still get all the channels from 5E - but 'Galaxy lagos', (being the least powerful) will be lost if dish is pointing slightly more to
3.1E. So I think you are right there.

Kveys, what lnbf do you use?

Got 3 tv in my location and i guess two data.

We used to get Dove TV on Telstar 11N @ 37.5 west a couple of years ago.

It's been years since last report on this bird, channels in C-band are fading ....
I am not sure how regular BBC feeds on 4.000 RH are but it seems there are still quite some from Africa ... just cought one.

The 4000 R transponder with the BBC Africa feeds (TV and radio) looks like it's potentially quite strong compared to the others at this position? I wonder if it's worth giving a go with a 1m dish I have to hand.

The C-band signal at 5.0E is not very reliable for reception with a small antenna. Mine is 1.50m, yet I receive the BBC World Service package, which is also favoured because the FEC is 1/2.

But it's better to compare what can be compared, looking at the signal on 4000 R, 17192, 1/2, as well as the spectrum with transponders and SNR obtained in my area.
