Is there any truth in the rumour that mobile providers are pushing for access to all of C-Band up to 4200MHz for new 5G services?

I did read something along those lines a while back. Europe is the ideal target with not having a massive amount of C Band.

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC
My Location
Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Never happen here state side as all the major premium channels like HBO and such are on the 4 "C" band satellites (or more), every CATV service that does not have a fiber feed to one of them uses "C" band.
