Looking into metal spinning we could make feedhorns to any shape we wanted for testing, my tinkering plans for next year when the workshops in place. @Trust1 have you had a go at making any please.

Fitted the lnb to the feedhorn today,

And changed, the lnb to the vertical port.

Got Itn now good and strong:) plus found a load of feeds :).

Before I moved it from the horizontal position I was able to lock 42E as well.

I just need 1 more of these lnb's.
Never thought of going over to 42E, but your're right Chris it comes in, bit weak but very stable despite it absolutely pi**ing down here!

Not moved my dishes in 3 days now ..so missed a lot of news feeds..
All positioned or locked down to minimise wind damage

..had to be content with terrestrial news updates ...but even the TV antenna was whipping around like crazy about 30 minutes ago..
I hope you guys dont suffer damage to yer sat gear whilst feed hunting..

Didn't move my dishes last night, was 0n 19E anyway, I must say the polar mount I had off Dave a SSS hardly gave me any break up at all. the house name plate with a basket of flowers was wreaked this morning though.......

Gibby writhed about a bit, but as usual didn't move from its position.
Unlike a builder's portaloo out the back a few doors down, toppled over across the alleyway. A strong smell of Sanilav or whatever they use. I didn't investigate.
