61.0°W Amazonas 3

Will give this a go, LP. Though, I might just be out of luck there as I am only getting one TP on 61W, not two like most people here. So, 63W might well be behind the bushes.

Yes, 63W to 75E on top of a hill just east of Brighton, it would be 75W if there was anything there pointing this way.

I notice CJ that 12642 H was secured ok......just to say that 12522 and 12642 are both normally locked at a decent dB but yesterday (as shown in the attachment of my prevoious post) the earlier scan of 12522 H shows a dB of only 5.7dB whereas an hour later scan gave a reading of some 11.4dB. The dB of 12642 H was near the same on both scans.

¿Possibly worth U having another shot at it?

Might be worth another go CJ......If U see my previous post attachment, 12522 H had a dB of only 5.7dB yet a scan 1 hour later showed some 11.4dB.......normally 12522 H and 12642 H have similar readings.

No luck - I am not even getting 12642H now... had about 9.x dB earlier but getting no more than 5dB now and nothing on 12522H.

Nothing seems to have changed here. Been sunny all day... Will try again tomorrow.
 
Scanned in both 61.5W transponders today. 12642 is back to yesterday's level on 9.5dB and 12522 is locked at 7dB, so scanned it in too!

Sadly, not a chance with 63W. Not a blip on the spectrum on the F15 (PC card is disconnected at the moment).

I've had 12642 all this time but hadn't been getting a signal from 12522 the last few days but it's back again today :)
 
I have not looked at this for a while.The TBS was on the TD88 so had a look.
A scan of 12000 to 12750.gets me one transponder.
12642H 28890 34.

Have the two horizontal transponders gone? Can't see anything here even on the 1.8m but the vertical signal is still strong although unlocked.
