61.5w Dish Network In Uk?

Sky uk, Fransat (Cgv E-sat HD-W), hispasat 30w (TDT SAT)

I went on to dishpointer and it said that the us 61.5w satellite can be seen from the uk. Is this true? I'm just curious, as I thought that was impossible :) a pretty big dish would be needed to get signals wouldn't it?
 
Martin beat me with that one.:).
My stab 90 gets stroppy if I try to push it past 53E,or 60W.
I think that it is now on 61.5w.
I only get a signal on 12641H 28869 sr scrambled.
TM5402HD. TD88.It is now on a blind scan.It may turn something new up.:)
 
I scanned her a few days ago ponti nothing new turned up for me and the open channels were still blank, I will take a look to see if any bis is available here.
 
Nope just that one transponder.
However.Not that I think that there is more there.The TM 5402 dose have a problem in that it sometimes dose not linger long enough on a tp to get a signal.ie it times out.
Past my bed time but I will give the Alien2 a go tomorrow that hangs around till it gets a signal.If it dos'nt it just hangs up.:)

i receive this satelite with small dish antena offset 1m
the signal it is strong,other people from spain confirm reception with small dish like 0.80 cm in good condition
i will send more photo and video to prove-----always a photo is worth like a thousand words---
all tv and radio channels are encrypted in nagravision
i receive signal S=93%---Q=99%
i use antena offset 1m,lnb inverto black ultra ,vantage X-201, madrid-spain

You wont get the DISH America signals - they are firing on shaped beams into continental USA, and not on European beams.

hi all hope you had a good xmas,as the tree across the road has been cut to a reasonable size I thought I would have a go with Amazonas 3,any way I got 12522H at 86% quality with 19 channels and 12642H at 98% quality with 15 channels all scrambled,a good result so I thought of pushing my luck and try Telstar 14R 63W all I got was a data channel on 11667H 5000 at 74% quality,thats all for now I am wondering if I can go any further.cheers
