7.3W multiple IP streams

I may have overseen this topic .. if so, admin please move this post elsewhere.
If not, I would like to get some guidance how to get these multiple IP streams running on E2.



What is the command to be put in Telnet in order to analyze the stream (something like wget 192.168.64.109:8001/dvb-ip-mpe2ts/1:0:C:C8:9C54:77EC7ABDC:0:0:0:/2002/224.30.2.122/6000 !?)?


I remember being able to watch the 21.6 IP streams before, I am struggling with 7.3W though.

I usually record few megabytes of the PID and then i use dvb-ip-mpe2ts in scan mode

dvb-ip-mpe2ts -s 100 -i record.ts

Unfortunately I do not know how/what that means ... I am not comp savvy. I've only learned some procedures with Octagon (thanks to you).

Easy way:
record with a pc card a few megabytes of the stream.
rename this record "record.ts"
FTP to your octagon in the /tmp folder
now enter with telnet, move to the /tmp folder and use the command i wrote above

you should see a list of the channels present in the stream jus like this:

Is there a way/command to analyze "on the go" ... directly from the stream receiving from the receiver?
I mean like the DAB streams... with wget something...?

Thanks to another friendly assistance from the forum colleague we managed to find the bug in the system which is now up & running.
So here are now all 25 streams/channels running on E2. The quality is rather poor but ... who cares.

I don't know what you mean by stuff; there are many things to have on the receiver in order to get these various streams running.

For me in the beginning all this was a complete dark but thanks to a couple of threads on this forum I slowly started to learn what is "chinese" and what is "japanese".
I suggest you to study these threads in particular:
RAI DAB+ feed from 5 West
Arqiva National DAB Feeds on 4.8E
13.0E IP multiple IP streams
21.6E IP multiple IP streams

First you need to have essential files (ETI tools) installed in the receiver and then you need to learn what's needed to be entered/adjusted in lamedb (either directly or through DreamBoxEdit - easiest and clearest for me) to bring certain channels to "life".

It only makes sense to one to learn how to handle all this to have real fun. It seems impossible in the beginning but after a lot of trying progress comes along for sure.
There are users here who know incredible things (at least in my eyes) and are always ready to explain/help with Q&A.

yes i have eti-tools files and some radio chaneels dab feed..
i was talking about your lamebd file....

OK, so if you've already successed with the DAB streams, it is time to deal with the IP streams which are not that different to deal with.
Maybe best to try the polish radios on 7E or spanish/portuguese on 30W first.
IP TV channels are then almost the same ... if "I don't know what" is correct in the receiver's software. Important are dvb-ip-mpe2ts & dvb-ip-mpe2ts.pl files. If those are present and still no channel working, than you potentially have the same problem I had which I cannot even explain as I don't understand anything of it.
