7025 No digital audio output

Hi All
Connected up my 7025 according to instructions and almost everything works.
The only problem is the fibre optica audio output.
The light is on. The regular audio outputs work. The Scart audio works.
Looking at the end connected to the receiver the light is on but no sound
Any Ideas

I presume you are using an av amp, have you tried the amp using a different source to make sure its not that, i would also go into the av settings on the dreambox and select ac3 default as yes.

I have the same problem on a Dreambox 7020Si. It is connected to a Harmon Kardon Receiver and I have tried both ac3 on and off on the Dreambox. The A/V connections (analogue) sound work but no sound via Optical although though the fiber optical cable is working (light on both on receiver and at end of cable when plugged in).

Additionally, the optical out works perfectly with the Dreambox 500s.

Any suggestions?

Have you set AC3 downmix=off - I believe you need this to get optical out.
