70W C-Band

I have two 5G C-LNBs in Oxfordshire that I no longer have use for.
Thank you for the imagery, as per my post of early Tuesday I would be interested to try one of them.

@Manikm909 I tried your 5G filtered LNBs but I honestly don't see much of an improvement over my Zinwell. It's highly frustrating as the signal is much better lower in the band and I would have had a chance of locking some digital as well.

@John do you have a short video of PAL signals in the lower band with the 5G filter in place? I want to see how good they can be.

I'll have a look in my saved videos for filter vids in use as i'm running without filters in place at the moment.
Here's a grab [not video] from a few days ago showing how destructive 5G can be for me here, looking in line of sight a 1/4 mile away from cell tower. The blue trace is 5G destruction over the normal receive strength signals below-totally washing them out.
The black blob top right of the Promax screen is a display fault that's appeared recently.

Here's an example with External 5G filter plus [supposibly] 5G lnb in place - unfortunately the cheaper External 5G filters and 5G lnb's stop bands seem to be effective from 3.60 downwards as can be seen when comparing the video to the previous 'still' picture without any filtering...... they don't kill the nasty 5G interference bursts i get here on 3.680 GHz.
There is of course many fine External 5G and 5G lnb's from the giants in manufactures that will tame the beast at 3.680GHz but at very expensive cost

It of course doesn't help that the satellite is coming from near horizontal location, so terrestrial 5G stuff has an easier way in than if the satellite was further up.

How do these filters work? Are they simply bandpassers than choke up-to whatever frequency? Let's say I have a channel at 3600Mhz and the 5G crap is on the same frequency - there isn't much a filter can do here, right?

Exactly right - I knocked a sketch up the other day explaining my situation - i only have to nudge the dish down a fraction to bring it nearly looking at the 1/4 mile away cell tower direct and the 5G signal interference increases five fold.
I could probably kill my nightmare 3680G nasty with some expensive Norsat 5G filter / 5G lnb but my realistic receive would be from 3.80G upwards - i'm just a bit unlucky that this 5G cell is in front of the dish path and not around the back of it.

nice gutter @John your drawing is good, and makes sense.

The 5G signal on mobile phones can fluctuate, which makes it difficult to use for watching TV programs. To solve this issue, a good 5G filter or a system that can shift the frequency back 100M to 3.8-4.2GHz may be necessary.

This for instance, which has been mentioned in previous posts

Well, it looks as though I have either no 5G interference near here, or the first LNB has a fault.

Commencing tests, imagery
Initial test indoors, Titanium LNB inside house in shielded box and the local cell tower (2kms away)

Have you had a chance to see what the one's from @yang sat deliver
I'm just having a dabble with a 'mini skirt'

I need to get back on the roof to swop out bits, it's got rather nippy in the past hour.

I was surprised that the internal noise of the LNB appears to mirror that of any potential 5G interference, which is not present in the flanged C band LNB that was originally outside (Horizon Platinum series - 25K) on the co-rotor.

Have you tried an indoor test to see the ground levels of noise ?
