My Satellite Setup
triax 1.1 tm 1500ci+ dm patch. Moteck 2100. Intel 4300 based pc . LG7500. 32" lcd
My Location
Wales. UK.
My present pc [working well] amd500, 20hd, ME, 256ram pc100,32 ati pro rage, usb1 x2, cd rewriter, side off incase it goes wrong. I need to upgrade just a little and the only thing I'm debating is the motherboard. I dont overclock.
Does anyone have a favourite 754, 5 or 6 onboard sound AGPx8 3 pci ish with usb headers and under £40. I will use a 64 bit processor sempron 3000/3500 I'm not building a gamer but I will have DVD write/etch and 1gig ram.
 
Exactly, I also would recomend a 939 board. The Asus A8N-E is cheap and meets your requirements.
You would still be able to put a cheap Sempron chip in it. Price a bit steep? Go for an Asrock.

If you really want a socket 754 board, go for one with the Nforce3 chipset. Asus and MSI have some nice ones by now they must be pretty cheap. Not a speed freak or not much of an OC'er? You won't go wrong with an Asrock.
