First transmissions from ABS2?
3964V is 15.0dB now, could this be ABS 2?
This txp should be easy, even in the south of England on this strength.

Only a tip of south eastern England can 'see' the satellite at about 0.8 degrees above horizon!

I have this news of ABS-2


My scan is little bit old - about 2 weeks.
But My goal is Motorvision HD 3679 V 29000 5/6

I have more news that other channels changing to ABS2 on 29 March 00 Malaysia time.

Today I made new scan of 75E C-band.


No lock on Motorvision HD today.

Now most transponders are moved to ABS2.
Finally catched one, signal here is much weaker than ABS1 C band was.

I can see MotorvisionHD is moved to ABS2.

8PSK changed to QPSK.
This helps alot to receive a weak signal.

Same situation on Ku in the UK, much weaker than ABS-1 and so far no locks on anything from ABS-2.

I keep telling him he needs a 1.8 up there and I'd be happy to install it but for some boring reason he's not interested.

This new ABS2 is not as strong old ABS1
3680H 27500SR Somsat TV, BON and a test card.

3752H 2400SR Indenpent TV

Sorry Lase, these both are from 76.5E. Only frequencies so far from 75E are here 3545H Al Hurra, 3556H Pinoy and 3617V Motorvision HD. Last one strongest and yes ABS1 was much more powerfull and no Cambodia anymore.
