Anyone know why several of the interesting African channels have disappeared off the 7E slot in recent weeks??
 
First noted them gone on Monday, surprised they're still missing.
 
GRTS disappeared a week or so back, and hasnt reappeared.
 
All is there now on 7 east: TPA, ORTB, DRTV, TVGE, ORTM, RTS, 2s i racines.
Maybe feed has problems?

according to KoS GRTS has left 7e,
think its on 5w now,
its a shame really showed quiet a few 3pm footy games on GRTS
 
Maybe some go black or use BISS during football, anyway as said all is fine now.
 
AH good - glad to see them back :)

5W is behind a tree here :(.

BTW - ORTB & RTS1 also occasionally show 3pms - always fta not Biss'd
 
No possible position for 5W anywhere around the cottage nowadays thanks to tree growth.

Is it your tree and do you possess a chainsaw? Is a question of priorities :)

Cut a branches off and say the snow was too heavy and it broke off or something ?

Not my trees - they are all part of the farm estate I live on, and they would not be in the slightest bit impressed if I chopped them down! :D

A couple of branches wont make any difference - 3 or 4 trees need to come down.

If they're ash you might get lucky (for various values of "lucky"...) :)
 
No such "luck" Pines, flowering cherry and more scrubby rubbish.

The farm dont seem to understand the need for the woodland to be lopped off at 20 feet!

Aren't agricultural buildings exempt from planning permission (I stand open to correction)? You could put up a 20m pylon to look over the trees....
 
Our landlord is very tolerant but thats pushing things a little too far!

I've no idea how he got planning permission for it but somebody who lives about 2 minutes drive from me has put one up beside his house. He has all sorts of radio aerials on it as well, and a 3m (I think) dish in segments that has been on the ground outside for 4 or so years.
