8000 and m2ts files

Hi
Can anyone please tell me if its possible to play a m2ts file off the 8000 hdd,
I dumped a 22gig film on to it and it didn't show up in the file menu

I used TSdoctor to mux the m2ts to a standard ts file - worked 100%
