Hello there, I have a niggling problem.

My sat dish does not always turn, the technician said it is losing power.

He suggested I replace my power supply with a PS2 power supply since it is very powerful at 8 Amperes. But I was asked a very high price for this power supply and searching in ebay, I found them at GBP7, would this be good for my satellite box? :

More detail:
When I switch off my dreambox from the power for a long period, I have to switch off the silvercrest, otherwise the signal will never come in when I reconnect my dreambox. I sometimes have to remove and reconnect the wire that comes direct from the dish 3 or 4 times until the signal comes in.

My software is Nabilosat.

I have managed to find 3 satellites, but today, twice, when I tried to go on 26 east everything got stuck. Having instructed the dish to go to 28.2E, it was going to 13E! I sent the software to 13E and the signal was back in. I have not retried to get 26E, so I hold on to what I have, and I can usually turn between the 3 saved satellites, although the motor sometimes freezes.

Help!
