Bulgarian company Vivacom expands to Africa
VIVACOM, a leading provider of telecommunication services in Bulgaria, signed a long-term contract with Eutelsat satellite operator for C-band capacity on Eutelsat 8 West B (8 ° W) to expand the distribution of video services in Africa.
VIVACOM aims to provide services for international programs to major African pay-tv operators. The first six programs are already uplinked via Eutelsat 8 West B from the Bulgarian Teleport, one of Eutelsat's partner teleports.
