SWMBO is dining out with her chums tonight (Well, I say "dining", but she's gone to Wetherspoons).

So I am thoroughly revolting and decided to forsake our usual haute cuisine in favour of oeufs brouillés with twice-cooked chips and a coulis of tamarind, tomato, molasses, dates and vinegar.

I thought garnishing with a sliver of crispy fish skin might be a refinement too far.

Ribeye Steak & lazy chips (couldn't be arsed to peel the potatoes!) here, and banananananaanannaaa bread beer to wash it all down... :)
