A cat astrophe?

Another way to test this funny thing to be sure it's not some sort of Chernobyl remnant is to put it in a strong paper bag with a corded phone inside it, wrap it up with about 40 to 50 meters of twine, go out on the lawn and swing it by the phone cord over your head while screaming like a chicken, if the guys in the white suits and butterfly nets do not show up to take you away it's radioactive.

At last, a voice of reason on an insane forum!
In the fridge, with no electric light the cat has the " lilac " hue, but as I take it out of the fridge the green " hue " returns
The top picture in the link ( cat ) is the closest to the colour that I see, possibly due to the thickness of the glass. Maybe blue when thinner, but mine is green. Typing with no lights on at the moment to see if the colour changes!
 
It could also be this stuff, How do thermochromic materials work?

I had a Dr Who coffee cup, when you poured the hot coffee in the Tardus disappeared, it quit working after a few years.

Spent 22 years working for BT, always kept in the dark and fed bullshit. Typing in the dark is no problem to me!

I spent 18 months working in BT and found it truly awful.
 
No self respecting Satellite hobbyist actually watches TV.

It would appear that the photochromic properties of the glass in question are much slower than the type used in sun glasses, as typing in the dark, and covering the cat with a cloth will not return it to the lilac "ish" colour quickly.
However, I think @skomedal is correct in his assumption as to the cause. Thank you for that.

Is it worth anything? bought on a car boot for 2€!
 
I had some spores once, I just use some Neosporin and some band-aide's and they went away.

And it's still lite out here and I can't hardly see the keyboard, let alone trying to type in the dark, besides I sometimes move the keys aroun=d on my keyboard, it makes for some fun times.

Look on the bottom for a label, make sure it's not made in Fukushima Japan.

Ummm around 2 cases of empty's on the back porch, I can drink a lot of beer, got second place at the last Oktoberfest.
