If its clear tomorrow evening take your nippers outside at 5.20pm & "look for Santa Claus" Theres a bright pass of the International Space Station starting at this time. Pass details for the UK are:
Borders - rises in the west 1720. Max altitude 22degrees 1722 - Sets 1725 in the south east
Manchester - rises in west 1720. Max altitude 35 degrees 1723 - sets 1726 in southeast.
South Coast - rises in west 1720. Max altitude 54 degrees 1723 - Sets 1726 in south east
You cant miss it if its clear. It looks like a distant jet moving across the sky west to south eastish but without the anti collision strobes flashing, and in the southern half of the UK it should be very bright indeed. (About mag -3)
