Ok struggling to get autotimer to create events in the timer when it finds the events ok.

My dm500hd is running black hole and the epg is great but is there anything I can use instead of autotimer.

Also I've heard a lot about Barry Allen. What is it
 
I've never used Autotimer so cant really comment on that. You can easily set timer events while browsing the EPG. I cant remember whether its the red or green button. You should see which button to use in the EPG window. You can easily set up a repeated timer event from this menu.

Barry Allen is used for booting multiple images, for example an image stored on a USB pen drive alongside the one in flash. Personally I prefer MeoBoot for this purpose.
