hi, guys after testing my broadband upload speed, thats what is it :
0.49Mb/s

now all i need to know is , if the above result (shown in Mb/s) its enough to cover 256kbps (of upload speed)??

in other words, 0.49Mb/s how much it equals in kbps ???
thanks a lot !!!!!!!:)

One kilobit per second (Kbps) equals 1000 bits per second (bps). Kbps is also written as “kbps” that carries the same meaning. Likewise, one megabit per second (Mbps) equals one million bps and one Gigabit equals one billion bps.

Hence your 0.49Mb/s is almost twice the required 256kbps which is the same as 0.25Mb/s

1Mb/s is equal to around 1000Kbps. So all you need to do is move the decimole place over 3. so 0.49Mb/s is equal to 490kbps.

Its at the low end for for successful slingboxing. Ideally you want far more for decent reception.
