Hi Guys,
I remember there is a web site that gives all the info relevant to dish installation anywhere in Europe you are (i.e. footprint/alignment /dish inclination etc..)
I remember there is one but i can't recall it.
cheers

Take your pick

Always check in our Big Links section, there are many links in there, including this one.

what i mean is as follow:
I need the website that gives me info on dish inclination which as all of you know, vary from country to country in europe.
it was a site , I vagly recall whereas , you could type in any country you like (i.e. Italy) and get the dish inclination neessary for that location when installing a dish. (i.e.41%/39%).
hope i have been clear enough now.
take care all

You mean like the one I have pointed you to above?

hi guys,
2 straight questions please concerning astra 28.2 (sky)

1) for London area , when i install the mini dish what precise dish inclination i need to set it for?? i.e. 30/40/55 degree etc..
2) exactly the same question but for central Italy.

Many thanks

Click on the link I've given you above, I found it in the Big Links List.

Also, another one here...

EDIT: This post was originally in another thread which now apprears to have been merged into this thread. As Rolf has already given a link to dishpointer earlier in this thread the info I have given is now just duplication of what has already advised. Admins/Mods - please feel free to delete this post.

The Astra 2 dish sizes on dishpointer.com are wildly inaccurate. Some sizes given are way too small, others where reception is relatively easy are given as out of footprint. The direction finder is spot on, though.

Sorry Rob I'll try reading all of your post next time, saw footprint and :-googly:-googly
