I’ve noticed that SatLex has been mentioned and linked here in this community quite a few times in the past, which I truly appreciate. Today, I’m excited to share some big news with you directly.
After nearly five months of intense work on the code and logic, SatLex® has received a complete redesign:

Azimuth/Elevation, Wavefrontier Toroidal Multifeed, Obstacle Elevation, Antenna Efficiency, Beamwidth, Noise Figure, F/D Ratio, EIRP Reception, Cable Attenuation, Rain Fade, Sun Outage

What has changed?
Besides the modern look and improved mobile experience, I’ve sharpened the focus of the platform. SatLex is now concentrating exclusively on what it does best: the calculation tools !!!
To make the project sustainable for the future and to maintain the high precision you expect, I had to make the difficult decision to retire the old image gallery. This allows me to keep the core tools updated and technically rock-solid.
To the veterans and newcomers alike:
Satellite technology has changed tremendously since I started this project in the early 90s. Whether you’ve been using these tools since the days of analog "hunting" or you just discovered them today for a modern 4K setup — I’m very curious to hear your feedback. I hope the calculators remain as helpful to you as they were intended to be from day one.
