Looks like its a mesh dish...should be no problem.

¿In the pic is the 'F' connectorand coax actually disconnected from the LNB?......think the rubber 'F' weather cover is along the cable.

Whatever, am sure with the new receiver, LNB etc you will achieve what you want.

Good luck. :)

I agree, from that photo it doesn't look like the roof would be an issue. The satellite signals come down to the dish at a steeper angle than where the dish face appears to be looking for offset dishes. Be careful working on that dish though, it's in a tricky location, especially if you are not too familiar with satellite stuff.

Thanks. Also the satellite is positioned above a conservatory!

I'm going for a Inverto IDLB-SINL40-ULTRA-OPP Single LNB 40mm 0,2dB Black Ultra which seems to have a good write up, and
technomate HD PVR Ready Satellite Receiver.

Any views welcome. The receiver might be overkill? This model might be more cost effective for ujst viewing foreign channels.

The latter isn't HD capable so you are better off with the first receiver option. The LNB is a good choice too.
