Hi

I am a newbie in this area(DE/EN-CRYPTION).
I wanted to get cas interface 3+ & found this __http://cdtronix.com/cas-3-interface-programmer-plus
Is it a scam?!

Second: I want to get 2 or 3 blank cards, which cards are best and most advanced?
Third: what accessories am i going to need for this hobby?
Fourth: for a PRO cam should i get Dragon ,T-rex ,Diablo-2.3,or something else

Thanks

The CAS 3 is a good programmer, not sure what you mean by "Is it a scam?"

It pretty much does what it says it can on that page, more useful nowadays for programming CAMs, but even that use is limited.

Regarding which cards to buy, it depends what you want to do with them. If it is, as suggested by you in previous posts in other threads, then don't waste your money.

We told you in your previous thread you cant copy modern day subscription cards. The pay tv companies were losing too much revenue from that game and tightened up their act.

However if you want to waste your money then the CAS3 was a decent programmer in its day.

CDTronix is one of the forum sponsors / advertisers and is a reputable company - I bought some stuff from them recently and it arrived fine in a few days, only delayed due to bad weather (heavy snow) up here - no reflection on their normal delivery times.

Its probably cheap to get rid of the stock - few people use CAS programmers these days.

i see...
I should get one soon then
What about this shop __http://www.sateuropa.co.uk/overview.asp?catid=10&subcat=36 is it a scam?!
Still which cams and cards to get?

Thanks again

Sateuropa is also a forum sponsor that is why I posted the link for you on the previous thread so here it is again

Only you can decide which cams and cards to get, as you are paying the money for them, personally I would not entertain a cam or card as they a generally outdated but that is your choice..............

there no modern cams nowadays.must be the idea of each company with its Box for the subs. that caused this..
in the past one could put all his his subs. into one cam instead of placing a receiver array making the living room like a workshop !
now...
OSN BOX
SKY BOX
HUMAX AL-JAZERRA
HUMAX HD+
at least HD+ still support separate cam HD+ to work with any CI Slot receiver
If its not for Dreambox,Q-box,and the variant Linux receivers...it would have been trouble...

Can i use season interface to emulate cams for Progdvb?

Thanks

Not strictly true - for full functionality the receiver must have CI+ spec too. I know the adverts Ive seen for HD+ cams for the German HD channels say the receiver must have CI+ cam slots.

What happens if you put a CI+ cam in a normal receiver I dont know - I haven't seen the question asked.

why cant dragon cam decode S2 channels?it have good hardware spec however the team dropped support,do you know why they gave up?

Money

The developers make MUCH more money by dropping development of current ranges and introducing new lines

if they did then whats the new line?!

The last cam was the Diablo 2, and there are a few cards out, but these are practically useless, personally I would forget about even researching the cams/cards, options and stick with a linux based receiver.

you mean for card sharing or emulation?

He means for reception of satellite TV whichever method you choose to use

rumors say that with infinity usb card reader and softcam plugin (for progdvb)
Sky should work on pc's,is it true or false?

thanks

With a legitimate subscription card.

Yes with a legit one, however there is no pirated sky cards basicly

If there were, we still wouldn't be talking about them ..................
