I assume it could be sped up slightly to 1.1 GHz with the right processor.

that makes it difficult to expand into anything 'super useful'..
I'd drop the 40gb drive and windoze o/s
Fit a 500gb hard drive ...and freenas ...
should convert nicely into a mini server ..for mp3's ...avis etc

should you need one of course..

Looks ok, if the CPU isn't integrated, then I'm sure a PIII would fit right in there, but, that said, for it's age, you could get something better that is Mini-ITX based, most mini-PCs are these days... :)

Though, I do hope the PSU is included, from the looks of things, it's one of them 4-pin jobbies, not so easy to wire up compared with a barrel plug & socket, especially if different voltages are carried by each pin... :confused:
