hi analog-sat ! i live in Cairo Egypt and it seems that the world cup
has been added to encrypted channels only , and i have no subscriptions
to Nile sat . i can motor to hot bird or Astra but since they closed nagra
and tps down i havent moved from the good old nile sat .

well my question is there any free channel on these satellites like ZDF or something that would be
broadcasting word cup matches live ? i really hate to miss the word cup :mad:
 
If you get Das Erste (ARD 1) or ZDF on 19E you will be able to watch at least some games.

ARD 1 coverage on Hotbird has been discontinued and ZDF wont be showing the football, so that particular avenue is closed to you.
 
If you cant get ARD1 / ZDF via 19E then go and get yourself a subscription for one of the pay services in your area that will be covering the games. Or go and watch the games in a local bar / cafe. Im sure many will be showing the games.

am not going to search the channles to watch some games , either i watch it all or i find another town .
i am not leaving my coutch either lol .
paying money ! hummm that is not the thing for me , but thank you anyway . and good luck for
your country in the word cup .
