Hi,

I want to buy a static dish to pick up two digital European satellites e.g. 19 degress and 28 degrees. I believe you can buy a twin combo LNB and position each one separately to pick up each satellite on a static dish. Please can you confirm :

1. Which type of LNB are required and can you recommend any models ?

2. Am I right in thinking if you are recording a programme from one satellite obviously you cannot watch any programmes on the other ?

3. I'm assuming you can watch pre-existing recordings on your euro satellite pvr whilst recording from another satellite ?

4. I'm assuming you would need a specialist engineer to set this up ?

Many Thanks

You can buy an adjustable monobloc LNB for this purpose, or you can use an offset bracket and two separate LNBs with a DiSEqC switch.

If you use a twin tuner PVR, then you can use twin LNBs, with Two DiSEqC switches, so that you can watch a programme on one tuner and record from either satellite on the other.
