I do have an old Echostar actuator which arm part Is stucked on and can only rotate without moving In either direction

Thanks for this nice thread.
To avoid water collecting in the motor, some of them have a hole that allows water to leak out.
If the motor is installed the other way or has no water leak hole, we can easily drill one.
This helps in lengthening the motor life.
Another factor that shortens the motor life is not using a counter weight.

On the polar mount on the back of the dish my friend.
When the motorized dish is at the extreme east or west, the strain on the motor is reduced by the counte-weight.
