ACTV, a 24/7 free to air digital channel, will launch this Thursday (12th June) on Sky Digital. ACTV will be listed in the ‘Entertainment’ section of the EPG with the channel number of 271. ACTV is the first UK produced TV channel to target the fast growing UK African and Caribbean population. Based in London, ACTV will have a programme schedule that will feature a broad mix of general entertainment content such as Music, Health, Current Affairs, Documentaries, News, Films and Business. The schedule will appeal to an audience that consists of three generations. ACTV will reflect the culture and perspective of the African and Caribbean population by commissioning original programming. ACTV will also source programming from Africa and the Caribbean.
