Just wondering if men can get addicted to telenovals, or this is only a ladies privilege?
Can Eastenders be considered as a telenovela or it has it't own category name?
I know that ladies, especially senior ones, look forward to the next episode so maybe this a good thing for them as it gives them a reason to live another day.

For a brief moment, I thought you were talking about an addiction to this guy:

Telenovalas are known as Soap Operas in the UK.

Not watched any for many years, but I'm pretty sure they're not an obsession confined to the Ladies.

I watch Hollyoaks as, despite some pretty moronic stuff there, they do deal with some real-life issues, which I appreciate.

Back in Russia I used to watch a few Mexican ones and.... Santa Barbara. Duh dah duh daaaaah (that's the theme tune)

I do not watch much telly, but certainly no soaps, I know ironic isn't it..............

No regular t.v viewing here ... certainly not u.k. soaps (never).
been drawn into a few episodes of the X files recently .. does this count as a soap? :D

Me too... started watching it from first season as never really watched it in sequence so some later storylines were confusing.

Remember Beverly Hills, 90210?
One good thing about it is that when people outside the US needed to fill in a form that asks for a US zip code, they just typed 90210
