I hope this is the right section for this and that maybe someone can help me. I live in Southern Greece and have a 1.2m dish with a SKY box and non-subscription viewing card. I am going to be moving to a house that has a dish and receiver already installed. This is a Dutch system and the card has CANAL written on it. My question is can I adapt the system in any way so as to receive my UK SKY channels using the same dish but adding my SKY receiver and I would guess a second LNB. Or will I have to have two dishes set up to receive the different signals?

Thanks all.

If the new house also has a 1.2m dish (unlikely) then you could get it moved to point at Astra 2 at 28E. It might then be possible to fit a side arm onto the LNB holder to add an extra LNB to point to the original satellite (either Hotbird at 13E or Astra 1 at 19E - I forget which).

All-in-all probably not feasible and much better to leave it alone and take the 1.2m with you and get that installed as well.
