ADMC Sports Box, Sky+, Macbook Pro

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone was able to point me in the direction of a respectable supplier of ADMC Sport subscription. I have come across a couple websites and noticed they are registered to the same person at a residential address in London, which makes me slightly uneasy about purchasing from them, and due to the fact the names got stared out on the forum i would assume they are an issue.

Also would i have an issue with a 90cm dish in the Mirepoix area of the south of France?

Regards,

Voodoozie

\if you mean two firms at 66 Great North Way - then they have a very bad record across many satellite forums - try a Google search on them.

ADMC is on Nilesat 201, and Badr6. You need to do some tests because according to the footprints neither is possible at your location on a 90cm dish. More like a 120cm.

I've never had the slightest hint of a signal from Nilesat 201, though as Heuvos has suggested you may get away with a 120cm dish, considering your location.

However, I have much more success with Badr6, though it can (as with most fringe reception) be unpredictable. You may get away with a 100cm dish where you are, though it would be best to experiment first. I'm not sure whether ADMC Sport have changed the receiver that came with the package but the tuner on the previous one apparently had a reputation for a lack of sensitivity.

120cm is just a guess. The thought behind it is Barcelona is on the edge of the 80cm zone, and seen from the satellite he is only 0.2º from there.

Voodoozie. If you do sort out your issues with your satellite dish, then I suggest you google admcsport.eu they are a British company based in Finestrat(Benidorm) who supply throughout Europe via TNT.Payment is in euros .They supply both the general public and the trade with their Satellite tv requirements. Hope this is of some use to you.

Yes.My Famaval dish was purchased from them. I have also visited their premises. The staff were very helpful and gave advise freely. As I was saying in my first post, all the satellite tv installers go to them including the guy who fitted my equipment for me.

They are one of the biggest suppliers of UK TV installers throughout the Costa Blanca, not only for ADMC systems but also for satellite equipment in general.

Yes it would be possible, but not on a 90cm dish.

2.4M seems a little excessive for London, hopefully someone from your region will be able to confirm the minimum size of dish required.

Berkshire is on the same Latitude as London (51.5ºN). And he was struggling at certain times of day to get lock.

3m in that case for guaranteed reception. Completely impractical in most of the UK!

I think you might be talking about ADMC on the western satellites.

It also broadcasts on Badr6, which should be picked up with a 1.2m dish
