Advice needed for what ports to open

Can any one let me know what ports i need opened to share sky plus what ports are needed open with my friends router.

Hopfully when i get this info it will let me know if my ccam config is 100%
 
It was 12000 on mine
 
The port you need to open is defined by the line SERVER LISTEN PORT : ***** in your CCcam.cfg
The default port is 12000 so unless you changed it, this is the port the person who is hosting the card needs to open on their router.
 
Your outgoing port is defined by the Cline you have received from your friend. Your incoming port is defined in your CCcam.cfg as per the post above. They are normally both 12000 by default unless either end changes it.
 
Another port you could open is 16001, this is for the ccam webinfo.
You would then put http://your ip or dyndnsaddress:16001
in your browser, and then you can see what is going on regarding the cs.

In most cases you will not need to worry about defining rules for outbound connections. Most firewalls only block inbound traffic.
 
Err, it might be obvious but did anyone think to ask what was hosting the card ? Everyone assumed it is CCcam !
